Founded in 1988, Silverware Inc. is a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV. The business management solutions firm specializes in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) largely for companies and organizations in manufacturing and distribution, and more recently, the cannabis industry.

The company is headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz., has an office in Seattle, as well as employees working remotely from cities across the United States. Nearly 40 percent of the Silverware Inc. team is female. As the president of Silverware Inc., I am proud to be a woman in tech. Women make up less than 20 percent of U.S. tech jobs, even though they make up more than half of the U.S. workforce.

How Silverware adds value to its clients’ businesses

At Silverware Inc., we recognize that the continuity between sales, delivery and support is critical. We have an extremely connected approach to implementation, which aligns our clients’ expectations with the results we deliver within the estimated timeframe and budget. Creating long-term partnerships is at the core of everything we do, and this is realized through the promises that we make and how we work to keep them.

Our recipe for success is mutual investment to ensure that there is a shared understanding of the expected outcome(s) identified through extensive pre-sales discovery.

The Silverware Way

The driving force behind the Silverware Way is a daily practice we call The Silverware Habits. It is these habits that serve as the foundation for our corporate culture; unifying us and providing our core approach to how we work, enabling us to best serve our customers and our team. Here is the list of our Silverware Habits:
1. Communicate Now
2. Clarify & Verify
3. Work as a Team
4. Build Relationships
5. Know the Customer’s Business and Show It
6. Take Ownership
7. Close the Loop.

As individuals working as part of a team and an extension of our clients, we strive to exhibit these habits daily.

Service through innovation

As a Microsoft partner and ERP solutions provider, for more than three decades, we understand that each customer has a unique set of needs.
However, we also recognize there are shared challenges nearly every company faces. Our goal is to deliver solutions that address those needs.

Our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Apps and solutions are available through the Microsoft marketplace, AppSource. Most recently, the team at Microsoft designated three of our products as Microsoft Preferred Solutions. This status is given to partners whose applications offer “quality, performance, and ability to address customer needs in a certain industry vertical or solution area.”

Silverware Change Tracking: As one client recently told us, “[Silverware] Change Tracking has saved me SO many headaches.” In a nutshell, this was the desired outcome. We knew of the limitations within the Business Central Change Log and we wanted to create a better solution to solve the case of “Who Dunnit,” and our application does what it says. Silverware Change Tracking provides a thorough history of every change in your records: allowing you to see what changed, who made the changes, and when did the changes take place.

Silverware QC: Our Silverware Quality Control module was initially inspired by our work with clients in the cannabis vertical. The application is designed to create greater flexibility in managing the testing requirements of raw materials and finished goods. The quarantine process assures untested or failed products cannot be sold or used in manufacturing. Silverware QC users can drill directly into item details for detailed test results, Certificates of Analysis, and identify quality issues before an item becomes a finished good.

Silver Leaf CBC: Through extensive research, Silverware’s Team was able to configure its traditional ERP solution specifically for the cannabis industry. Our cannabis ERP, Silver Leaf CBC provides a world-class ERP, which supports audit requirements that investors require. The software helps to automate state compliance that is necessary for maintaining a license, all the while streamlining business processes.

Silverware Bartender Integration: It is as easy as 1,2,3! With Silverware BarTender Integration the user can design its label in BarTender or start with a BarTender template, map the label data in Business Central and then hit print. The application is designed to eliminate printing workarounds with a simple 3-step process. We used Seagull Scientific’s a best-in-class labeling software as it provides automated, flexible, and accurate results.

Choosing the Right Partner

We realize that most ERP software products offer similar capabilities. The differential is in the partner you choose. At the heart of it all choosing the right partner is about the people. It is important to select a team that understands your needs and will communicate consistently throughout the process. At Silverware Inc., we go into each customer relationship with the goal of establishing a customer for life. Our dedication and commitment to each project and to every customer focuses on designing a solution that allows companies to achieve their goals. We provide support to help our customers operate more efficiently and effectively and realize your future together.
